  • Description: Paper Stop Motion Animation. A hands-on class where you will have the chance to explore a range of different types of animation, including a variety of techniques but with a large focus on creating Stop-Motion Animation videos. Each block will focus on different animation techniques and materials. (A smart phone or tablet is required but the app we will use is free to download). L/O Our first animation block will be all about paper animation! We will learn about what animation is and how we can create simple animations using paper, including flip books. All lessons will include use of Stop-Motion Animation software. We will begin by looking at creating simple movements with paper shapes, before moving on to looking at depths, layers and levels in animation, reverse and replacement animation, creating moving characters and will finally build up to planning our own storyboards.
