About this course

  • £10.00
  • Tutor: Mel, 5 sessions
  • Age: 14+
  • Description: Why do people believe or not believe in a God? Why do people believe in God? Why do people believe there is no God? What are religious experiences and how do different worldviews explain them? How do our worldviews shape and influence our views on day to day issues? These are the sorts of questions we will explore in this first of a 2-part block, the second of which will explore challenges to religion and secularisation. L/O: We will learn about Cosmological and Teleological arguments, different types of religious experiences, and distinguish between belief, atheism and agnosticism, beginning to consider how these beliefs shape and influence our worldviews.
