  • Description: A whole week of hands on, relaxed and educational STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Maths) challenges using LEGO from any kit and some house hold materials. Suitable for children aged 7+ but if you know your younger/older children would enjoy joining in and be inspired to build their own ideas, they are more then welcome. STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Maths): Design and develop purposeful, functional products using Lego and household materials while learning about structures, mechanical systems, circuits and computer programming. Language skills/vocabulary: Following and giving instructions. Describing components and their creations, explain how they made it and what it can be used for. Creativity & experimentation: Opportunities for freestyle building using imagination and self-expression while developing ideas. Problem solving & Computational skills: Finding alternative parts to achieve the same outcomes. Algorithms and coding. Physical Development: Fine motor skills and dexterity.
