Does your son, daughter or unregistered cyborg want to learn to program code, to loop their loops, to vary their variables and to System.out.println their.... no I've got nothing. On Thursday there will be the first taster lesson of "Top of the Class - Java Programming for future developers" with me, Mr Harris, trying to help them to understand a whole new world of coding design and building structured code. I would love to see any students from Year 9 and beyond who want to learn to code or even have some understanding, but please note; Younger are welcome to try, but I will be treating it as a mature course with some complicated ideas explained by myself as we progress. */ }. Java Programming: Top of the Class: This is a course for students to learn Object Oriented Programming and teaches both the language of Java but also the principles of programming and building code to solve problems. It will be tough for secondary studnets who have never experienced any coding but not impossible, it is however, not recommended for complete beginners who do not already have a grounding in solving problems and maths. It probably isnt the course for you if you can already code in Java and will be frustrated at how easily you complete tasks and challenges
