  • Description: Moving away from auto modes! In this advanced photography class, we will begin to unpick the key elements required to take great photos, then learn how to control them ourselves. We will begin by checking we understand the fully automatic modes available to us, before exploring the semi-automatic modes, learning when and why we might use them, as well as how to adjust them. Once we've done this, we will begin to take full control of our camera settings in manual mode. PLEASE NOTE: Students require a camera which has manual shooting capabilities - typically a DSLR or mirrorless camera. The functions required are : Programmed Auto (P), Shutter Priority (Tv or S), Aperture Priority (Av or A) and Manual (M). These letters will most likely be displayed on a dial on the top of the camera. Please note - this is an advanced class and is most likely not suited to younger students.
