  • Learning Show Description

    This interactive learning show is designed to help you discover the true joy of singing with others and experience that amazing feeling when different voices blend perfectly together.

    Every week is a musical adventure as we learn beautiful songs from different parts of the world. Each song is made up of different vocal parts that sound fantastic on their own, but absolutely amazing when we layer them up and sing them together.

    Alongside these songs, we will learn how to recognise different musical intervals by ear using catchy, familiar songs to unlock the secrets to relative pitch. These skills will help you develop the foundations needed to harmonise with ease.

    Best of all, the music doesn't stop when the class ends. You will learn songs that you can easily teach to your friends and family so that they can sing along with you - your very own choir at home.

  • Course Objectives

    1. To follow a sequence of vocal warm ups to prepare for singing

    2. To learn to match pitch and articulate

    3. To maintain an independent vocal line whilst singing a song in the round

    4. To perform a partner song by maintaining a melody against a second different melody

    5. To identify 4 different musical intervals by ear

    6. To match specific musical intervals to their corresponding song 'hooks'

Hi, I’m Kelly, I’m a professional musician, singing teacher and home educating mother of 3. I have a Diploma in Advanced Singing Teaching Techniques and a First Class BA (Hons) in Early Childhood Education. We have always home educated our children, my eldest is now 13, all my children use the £2 tuition hub, we love it. We currently live on a sailing boat exploring the Mediterranean by sea, we have been travelling for three years and have seen some amazing things. Whilst travelling I teach singing online and I’m now super excited to join the hub. As a professional musician, I have sang all over the world. I've performed in New Zealand, South Korea, India, Finland, France, Ireland. I've performed at festivals, clubs, art centres & theatres as well as parties, weddings and pubs. I've performed live on BBC Radio 2 for Jo Wiley and I've sang for, the then, Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall. I sing Blues, Jazz, Pop, Musical Theatre, Country and improvisational singing. I perform covers as well as my own original material, I have two original albums and two albums of quirky covers on iTunes and Spotify. As a teacher I spent almost five years at a private school in the cotswolds, I taught the LSM Musical Theatre Syllabus and took students from beginner right through to achieving distinctions at Grade 8. My private tuition has been more diverse, I teach a wide range of genres including, Pop, Blues, Pop, Jazz, Country, Musical Theatre, improvisation and song writing.

  • How do I access the live sessions?

    You will receive a confirmation email from Zoom, containing details of your live registration.

    You will also have a reminder one hour before the start of each class.

    The live session can be accessed from the 'Join Webinar' button in these emails.

  • I've missed a session, can I have the recording?

    All recordings are uploaded within 24 hours to here - your dashboard - so you can watch whenever is convenient.
