Content

  • In the September block we will be looking at:- Autumn Badge. ome and join us for an exciting adventure where we teach you life skills and adventure skills too. Pawprint Badges is a website that has challenge badges where we choose activities and work towards a badge over the 5 sessions of each block. Then parents can choose whether they want to buy the badges online for their child/children to collect or not. There is no requirement to do so. It is a lovely creative set of sessions where we have an introduction to the new badge, a craft activity, a food activity, a games session and then another activity all spread over the 5 sessions. We create, bake, design, paint, collect and much, much more! All linked to different parts of the primary curriculum.

  • For our autumn badge we will be doing... Session 1 - An introduction to autumn including festivals from different religions. Session 2 - Making autumn mobiles from twigs, leaves, pine cones etc. A great excuse to do an autumn walk! Session 3 - Food - Making blackberry sponge and crumble muffins. Session 4 - A fun session of word searches, quizzes, mazes, spot the difference and all sorts! Session 5 - Other - Leaf rubbings and leaf painting.

  • Come and join us for exciting adventures! Pawprint & PSHE Tutor

Sarah is covering for Hannah S's Pawprint class whilst Hannah is having a baby. Hello, I'm Sarah H and when I'm in school I'm Mrs Halliwell. I've been a full time primary school teacher for 16 years and then had a baby boy recently. I'm going back to being a teacher in class a couple of days a week and am so excited to teach in the Hub as well. I teach all the primary subjects in school but particularly love PSHE/HRE, English and Topic. I love bringing mindfulness and relaxation into my classroom as I think a happy mind and a happy body are really important in order to be effective learners. I also love using lots of interactive strategies to get you engaged with your learning. I specialise in Key Stage 1 but have taught across Key Stage 2 too. I love nature, camping and spending time with friends and family. I can't wait to share my love of teaching and learning with you guys!
