  • Description: Characteristics, classification and organisation of organisms. Students will learn about the characteristics and classification of living organisms, including the five kingdoms of life and the hierarchy of classification. The lessons will cover plants, invertebrate and vertebrate animals with their unique characteristics and behaviors, the organisation of organisms including the study of cells and bacterial cells, and the significance of nucleic acids and DNA in storing and transmitting genetic information. Through these lessons, students will gain a comprehensive understanding of the diversity and organization of living organisms and the fundamental role of DNA in genetics.
