  • BUILDS ON PREVIOUS BLOCKS. Description: PLEASE NOTE: If you are doing individual separate sciences then you will also need the base content which is delivered in Mondays Chemistry IGCSE (part of coordinated science) session. Further Stoichiometry, Electrolysis, Fuel Cells, Transition Elements, and Noble Gases. Advanced stoichiometry, exploring limiting reactants, yield calculations, and empirical/molecular formulas. The focus then shifts to further electrolysis, covering advanced electrolysis cells, electroplating, and applications like water electrolysis. Lessons on hydrogen fuel cells follow, encompassing their structure, applications, and advancements. Transition elements are introduced, emphasizing electronic configurations, complex ion formation, and practical applications. Finally, noble gases are studied for their unique properties, applications of specific gases, and potential hazards.
