Description: In this sequence of five lessons, Mr North teaches you how to use ‘Tinkercad’ computer-aided design software to create five different games that are all designed to be 3D-printed. The software is free and intuitive to learn. Each lesson starts with Mr North teaching you how to create a simple game design, later progressing on to versions with more complex geometry and extra features. If you do not have access to a 3D printer, all of these games can be handmade using simple materials. There are also many businesses that can print models and post them to you. All of the projects have been successfully trialled with Key Stage 2 children, and are also suitable for KS3 and KS4 students. 1. Intro to CAD/Tower of Hanoi. 2. Noughts & Crosses. 3.
