Content

  • Does you child love to be creative? This course is the perfect way for your child to unleash their creativity and learn how to design greeting cards! We’ll go through how to come up with the initial ideas, craft messages, use design tools and even explore ways to sell their creations.

  • With insights from my own experience as a successful card designer, this course is packed with practical advice and fun activities to spark their creativity.

  • - To develop ideas and inspiration for greeting cards.
    - To develop an understanding of effective messaging.
    - To understand the different software and methods required to design cards.
    - To practice the designing process.
    - To explore the various selling avenues for greeting cards.

Hi everyone! I’m Amy and I’ve been a private tutor since 2020. I previously worked as a teacher where I taught in almost every year you can think of! I’ve worked in mainstream, independent and special schools. I’m passionate about every child being able to access an education that is right for them and I’m excited to be a part of that! During my time as a teacher, I worked with students with very high anxiety and as a result I’m an empathetic tutor and always aim for students to feel safe and secure in my lessons first and foremost. I also like to produce fun and engaging lessons that focus on topics that students are actually interested in! I love travelling, reading and spending time at home with my baby, husband and dog! I also run my own greeting card company and have sold over 50,000 designs! I am so excited to be joining the hub and to meet you all. I am a huge advocate for home education and I love what the £2 hub stands for! I hope to see in my lessons soon!
