  • Weather & Natural Disasters

    In this creative drawing topic, we’ll dive into the dramatic world of weather and natural disasters!

    Each week, your child will build their drawing skills while sketching stormy skies, crashing waves, erupting volcanoes, icy landscapes, and crumbling cities.

    Through live demonstrations and guided activities, they’ll learn essential techniques like shading, blending, cross-hatching, and perspective to bring their artwork to life.

    With plenty of imaginative challenges and hands-on practice, this course is perfect for young artists who want to develop their confidence and creativity while learning how to capture the power of nature on paper!

  • Course Objectives:

    Develop drawing techniques like shading, blending, and texture to show movement and depth.

    Improve observational skills by studying real-life storms, waves, and landscapes.

    Experiment with artistic effects like cross-hatching, contrast, and perspective.

    Express ideas and emotions by using composition and storytelling in artwork.

    Evaluate and refine work by reflecting on techniques and learning from artists.

Hello 👋🏻 My name is Kerry and I am really happy to be joining the £2 tuition hub family as a tutor. Iwill be teaching the KS2 Topic and Geography classes and can’t wait to see some of you there. I’m an KS1 and KS2 specialist teacher, teaching in the classroom for 14 years before tutoring and my favourite subjects (to teach and to learn!) are history, geography, art and science. When I’m not teaching, I love to read, cook, go for walks and play games with my 3 year old, Alfie!

    You will receive a confirmation email from Zoom, containing details of your live registration. You will also have a reminder one hour before the start of each class. The live session can be accessed from the 'Join Webinar' button in these emails.

  • I've missed a session, can I have the recording?

    All recordings are uploaded within 24hours to here - your dashboard - so you can watch whenever is convenient
