  • Style it Out

    In this creative sketching course, your child will explore drawing through the lens of some of the world’s most iconic artists.

    Each week, we’ll take inspiration from a different artist and learn how to recreate their signature style – while developing our own creativity and technique along the way.

    From Van Gogh’s swirling landscapes to Yayoi Kusama’s bold patterns, your child will experiment with line, shape, texture, and expression as they sketch everything from abstract faces to nature close-ups.

    This is a chance to explore art history in a hands-on way, discover new ways of seeing the world, and grow in artistic confidence.

    Children will be guided through step-by-step techniques but also encouraged to add their own creative twists.

    No experience needed – just curiosity and imagination!

  • Course Objectives:

    Explore a range of artists and styles; improve drawing techniques including line, shape, texture, and form.

    Learn about key figures from art history and how different artists express ideas through visual styles.

    Experiment with abstract, surreal, and expressive forms of drawing to build artistic confidence.

Hello 👋🏻 My name is Kerry and I am really happy to be joining the £2 tuition hub family as a tutor. Iwill be teaching the KS2 Topic and Geography classes and can’t wait to see some of you there. I’m an KS1 and KS2 specialist teacher, teaching in the classroom for 14 years before tutoring and my favourite subjects (to teach and to learn!) are history, geography, art and science. When I’m not teaching, I love to read, cook, go for walks and play games with my 3 year old, Alfie!

  • How do I access the live sessions?

    You will receive a confirmation email from Zoom, containing details of your live registration.

    You will also have a reminder one hour before the start of each class.

    The live session can be accessed from the 'Join Webinar' button in these emails.

  • I've missed a session, can I have the recording?

    All recordings are uploaded within 24 hours to here - your dashboard - so you can watch whenever is convenient.
