Content

  • SWOT and PEST Analysis

    This can be done as a stand alone block or it can be accessed after Enterprising Minds 'Where Will Your Life Take You?' block.

    During this block we will complete a SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) and PEST (Political, Economical, Social, Technological) Analysis for our business idea.

    What will support your business idea and what will be a barrier to your success?

  • Course Objectives:

    To identify the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats that can have an impact on our enterprise.

    To explore how the Political, Economical, Social and Technological aspects of society can influence.

Business IGCSE, Law, Criminology Tutor

Hello! I’m Carla and I teach a variety of Secondary Social Science sessions in the Hub. These currently includes Business, Law and Criminology. I am a Freelance Educator who enjoys a variety of roles. My most recent role outside of the Hub has been a Deputy Headteacher which I have thoroughly enjoyed. I am also an Educational Advisor for Claire House and examiner with a leading exam board. I have almost 20 years’ teaching experience and have led the pastoral care of students for the vast majority of my career. I have vast experience of leading Alternative Provision within the secondary system and that is why I adore the Hub and our learners within it soooooo much. I am based close to my home city of Liverpool, have three children and two cats. I love music and always start my sessions with a song whilst everyone is joining. During my free time you will find me exploring the UK and France in our caravan. Hope to see you soon in one of my sessions.

  • How do I access the Live sessions?

    You will receive a confirmation email from Zoom, containing details of your live registration. You will also have a reminder one hour before the start of each class. The live session can be accessed from the 'Join Webinar' button in these emails.

  • I've missed a session, can I have the recording?

    All recordings are uploaded within 24hours to here - your dashboard - so you can watch whenever is convenient

  • How do I contact support?
