- STAND ALONE BLOCK. Description: Imaginative story writing. Get those imaginations and pencils ready as we launch into the world of imaginative story writing! Each week, we will be inspired to share our thoughts and ideas around a short animated story, or a fascinating picture. Sharing adventurous vocabulary, short burst writing activities and then a chance to continue your own story. Will you be riding on the back of a dragon or exploring a forest full of fairies - where will your imagination take you? L/O: To use generated adventurous vocabulary in sentences. To sequence sentences to tell a story. To write own story.
