Content

  • The Human Body

    In this five-week topic, children will explore our amazing human body in an engaging and interactive way. Each session focuses on a different part of the body, from learning about bones and the skeleton to discovering how the heart works and what our organs do. We'll also explore the five senses and why they’re so important, and look at ways to stay healthy through food, exercise, and hygiene.

    With a mix of hands-on activities, simple experiments, and opportunities to join in, this topic is designed to make learning fun and accessible, supporting children in gaining practical knowledge about how their bodies work. It’s the perfect blend of science and creativity to inspire curiosity and a love of learning!

  • Course Objectives:

    Identify and describe the basic parts of the human body and their functions: Children will learn about key body parts such as the skeleton, organs, and the five senses, and understand their roles in helping us move, think, and interact with the world.

    Recognise the importance of a healthy lifestyle: Through discussions and activities, children will explore how exercise, good nutrition, and hygiene contribute to staying healthy and feeling strong.

Hello 👋🏻 My name is Kerry and I am really happy to be joining the £2 tuition hub family as a tutor. Iwill be teaching the KS2 Topic and Geography classes and can’t wait to see some of you there. I’m an KS1 and KS2 specialist teacher, teaching in the classroom for 14 years before tutoring and my favourite subjects (to teach and to learn!) are history, geography, art and science. When I’m not teaching, I love to read, cook, go for walks and play games with my 3 year old, Alfie!

    You will receive a confirmation email from Zoom, containing details of your live registration. You will also have a reminder one hour before the start of each class. The live session can be accessed from the 'Join Webinar' button in these emails.

  • I've missed a session, can I have the recording?

    All recordings are uploaded within 24hours to here - your dashboard - so you can watch whenever is convenient
