  • Toys Through Time

    Join our fun and interactive online class for KS1 children all about
    "Toys Through Time"!

    Each week, we’ll explore how toys have changed from the past to the present through games, stories, crafts, and engaging activities.

    Perfect for curious minds aged 5–7, this 5-week course brings history to life with exciting, hands-on learning from the comfort of home.

    Let your child discover, create, and imagine with us!

  • Specialist Resources Needed:

    Sorting sheet, everyday toys nearby for show & tell.

    Paper, pencils, string/straws, printable templates.

    Printable or digital sorting sheet, common toys at home, small tub for water testing.

    Paper, colouring pencils, design template, building materials.

    Comparison worksheet, drawing tools.

    Course Objectives:

    Understand what toys are, identify differences between old and new toys.

    Explore what toys were like in Victorian times and how children played.

    Identify materials used in toys across time and understand why materials have changed.

    Apply knowledge of toy features and materials to design their own toy.

    Compare toys from different times and imagine what toys might be like in the future.

Hi, I'm Kat! I'm a mum of two, living in beautiful North Devon with my family and our two cheeky cats. I love spending time outdoors — whether that’s paddle boarding, coastal walks, or growing my own vegetables in the garden. Cooking is a big passion of mine, and I enjoy bringing creativity and fun into everything I do. My favourite colour is blue, and I believe learning should be a joyful, hands-on experience where children feel inspired and confident to explore the world around them

    You will receive a confirmation email from Zoom, containing details of your live registration.

    You will also have a reminder one hour before the start of each class.

    The live session can be accessed from the 'Join Webinar' button in these emails.

  • I've missed a session, can I have the recording?

    All recordings are uploaded within 24 hours to here - your dashboard - so you can watch whenever is convenient.
