  • Famous Artists

    Join us on a creative journey through time as we explore some of the world’s most famous artists and the art movements they helped to shape.

    Each week, your child will discover a new style of art, from the lifelike sketches of Leonardo da Vinci to the bold, colourful world of Andy Warhol’s pop art.

    Along the way, they’ll try their hand at different techniques, including detailed sketching, impressionist brushwork, and creating abstract shapes.

    Through hands-on activities, storytelling, and engaging discussions, your child will not only learn about art history but also develop their own creativity and appreciation for art.

    This topic is designed to inspire curiosity and imagination, bringing famous artworks to life in fun and exciting ways!

  • Course Objectives:

    To understand and learn about significant art movements, including Renaissance, Impressionism, Cubism, Surrealism, and Pop Art, and how they shaped the history of art.

    Explore artistic techniques and develop skills in sketching, brushwork, colour use, and abstract design inspired by famous artists.

    Recognise cultural impact, discovering how artists like Leonardo da Vinci, Claude Monet, and Andy Warhol reflected and influenced the culture of their time.

    Study how art is used to communicate ideas, emotions, and stories across different periods.

    Produce art inspired by famous styles and critique their own and others' work to understand artistic choices.

Hello 👋🏻 My name is Kerry and I am really happy to be joining the £2 tuition hub family as a tutor. Iwill be teaching the KS2 Topic and Geography classes and can’t wait to see some of you there. I’m an KS1 and KS2 specialist teacher, teaching in the classroom for 14 years before tutoring and my favourite subjects (to teach and to learn!) are history, geography, art and science. When I’m not teaching, I love to read, cook, go for walks and play games with my 3 year old, Alfie!

    You will receive a confirmation email from Zoom, containing details of your live registration. You will also have a reminder one hour before the start of each class. The live session can be accessed from the 'Join Webinar' button in these emails.

  • I've missed a session, can I have the recording?

    All recordings are uploaded within 24hours to here - your dashboard - so you can watch whenever is convenient
