Content

  • Mes Loisirs - My Leisure Time

    This is the 2nd block in the KS3 French course. We will talk about our leisure activities revising lots of sports and hobbies and musical instruments

    This follows from Block 1 but students could still attend if they have covered the material about family and friends taught in Block 1

  • Course Objectives:

    As well as revising lots of vocabulary relating to sports, hobbies and instruments we will learn the verbs faire and jouer as well as lots of other regular ER verbs and their endings. We will also learn to use the negative and learn lots of present tense time phrases. At the end we will be able to talk in detail about how we spend our leisure time.

Bonjour, I’m Angela, the French teacher in the Hub.

I’m a mum of 2 grown up children and a qualified MFL teacher with many years’ experience.

I have been teaching secondary French in the Hub for 3 years and started the primary French lessons last year. I have also done a couple of blocks of Beginners German pre-recorded lessons. I am a full-time self-employed tutor of French and the majority of my students are home educated.

I love languages and am currently teaching myself Spanish. Along with language learning, my other passion is travelling and in fact, language learning and foreign travel complement each other wonderfully as together, they provide a richer, more informed life experience allowing for deeper cultural immersion and a better understanding of other cultures, customs and traditions.

I have loved meeting some of your lovely children and hope to continue working with them and meeting new ones. I try to make all my lessons fun as that is how we all learn best and so there are plenty of interactive games and a variety of different activities and also songs for the younger students.

  • How do I access the Live sessions?

    You will receive a confirmation email from Zoom, containing details of your live registration. You will also have a reminder one hour before the start of each class. The live session can be accessed from the 'Join Webinar' button in these emails.

  • I've missed a session, can I have the recording?

    All recordings are uploaded within 24hours to here - your dashboard - so you can watch whenever is convenient

  • How do I contact support?
