  • This pre-recorded course covers the key aspects of one of the most significant conflicts in modern history. You will learn about the causes of the war, the realities of trench warfare, the events leading to the end of the war, and the Treaty of Versailles.

  • This course aims to provide a clear and concise understanding of World War I and its impact on the world, in a accessible and creative way.

  • Identify and explain the main causes of World War I. Describe the conditions and strategies of trench warfare. Analyse the terms and impact of the Treaty of Versailles.

Hello! My name is Gordon and I teach Key Stage 3 History (year 7-9) here in the hub. I have been a qualified teacher for 12 years teaching History, RE and bit of Geography. I also spent a number of years working on the pastoral side of things, so you can have piece of mind that I am also a qualified safeguarding officer.
