    In this block, you’ll discover different ways to show information clearly, using charts, graphs, and tables.

    Step-by-step lessons will help you understand how data is presented and what it tells us.

  • Course Objectives:

    To be able to construct and interpret appropriate tables, charts, and diagrams, including frequency tables, bar charts, pie charts, and pictograms for categorical data, and vertical line (or bar) charts for ungrouped and grouped numerical data

    Lesson 1: Frequency tables, bar charts and pictograms

    Lesson 2: Pie charts

    Lesson 3: Line graphs and time series

    Lesson 4: Scatter graphs

    Lesson 5: Misleading graphs and use of statistics

KS3 Maths Tutor

Hello! I’m Deanne and I teach Secondary Maths here in the hub. I’ve been a fully qualified teacher of Maths for over 20 years, having taught in a variety of schools in the Midlands and North West for a number of years. I am a current examiner of GCSE and A level Maths and I run my own tuition business. I have written and proofread textbooks and revision guides for a well known publisher and reviewed content for various websites. I aim to make Maths as accessible as possible to all my students and build confidence whenever I can.

  • How do I access the live sessions?

    You will receive a confirmation email from Zoom, containing details of your live registration.

    You will also have a reminder one hour before the start of each class.

    The live session can be accessed from the 'Join Webinar' button in these emails.

  • I've missed a session, can I have the recording?

    All recordings are uploaded within 24 hours to here - your dashboard - so you can watch whenever is convenient.

  • How do I contact support?
