  • Description: The world is at war...constantly. Throughout history, the pursuit of peace/power/personal gain has plummeted entire nations into bitter disputes, resulting in death, destruction and new deals being struck. This topic will look into some of the key wars in history: how those battles were fought; how they were started; the impact on the world and who 'won'. Join AJ at the Battle of Hastings, before whizzing through time until we reach the modern day. L/O: To understand why some forces may go to war. To recall some of the major battles in history. To be able to comment on how war strategies have developed through time. To develop a chronology of key moments in history. To understand the development of technology in warfare.
