  • STAND ALONE BLOCK. Description: Connecting With Nature. This will be a gentle morning wake up, including stretching, breath work, meditation and intention setting to start your day off in the best possible way. As you enter this session, you'll embark on a journey that intertwines the gracefulness of yoga poses with the elements of the natural world. Feel the grounding stability of Earth as we delve into poses that mimic the strength of mountains or the rootedness of trees. Explore the fluidity of Water through flowing sequences, allowing your movements to emulate the fluidity of streams and oceans. Embrace the fiery energy of the Sun as we engage in poses that ignite inner warmth and vitality. Experience the weightlessness of Air, breathing deeply and expanding into poses that evoke the lightness and freedom found in the open sky. The stretches will be working at a beginner level, and we will predominantly be practising at a gentle pace, slowly moving between positions and holding them for periods of time. There will be variations and adaptations available for more advanced stretchers. No previous experience required, open to all ages (but please note that for students younger than 7, there will be pauses and holds of movement, so concentration will be key to get the most from this class). If possible, try and find a quiet space to join us, and wear comfy, warm clothing. A yoga mat is great if you have one, and feel free to have a pillow and blanket to hand for comfort. If you don't have a yoga mat, please ensure your floor is gentle and supportive. Set the atmosphere for yourself at home with dimmed lighting and gentle music (if you want - yogis choice). Namaste.
