Content

  • Keys and Scales

    If you are new to music theory and would like to join us to learn about Keys and Scales, you will need to complete the lessons from our previous blocks alongside this one, starting with the 'Pitch' block from September 2024.

    Our fourth block will focus on keys and scales. We will be learning about the keys and scales of A, Bb and Eb major. We will also learn about relative majors and minors.

    To aid us with our learning, we will be using ‘Discovering Music Theory The ABRSM Grade 2 Workbook’ which will need to be purchased. These books usually retail around £9.50; there is a link for this on the dashboard. (This book is used within all of our blocks throughout the year.) The ABRSM workbook will be accompanied by activities and quizzes to ensure that our lessons are engaging and fun!

Piano Tutor

Hi, I’m Natalie and I am the piano/keyboard teacher for the hub. I am a mum of two and a qualified primary school teacher. I have been playing the piano since I was 6 years old and have been teaching piano for around 24 years- both online and in person. I am also a classically trained singer and was a member of the Cantamus Girls’ Choir for ten years. Pre-Covid, I enjoyed singing to residents in care homes and running my own dementia choir. Music is such a huge part of my life and I am thoroughly enjoying teaching in the hub, where I can share my love of music and enjoy watching children flourish.

  • How do I access the Live sessions?

    You will receive a confirmation email from Zoom, containing details of your live registration. You will also have a reminder one hour before the start of each class. The live session can be accessed from the 'Join Webinar' button in these emails.

  • I've missed a session, can I have the recording?

    All recordings are uploaded within 24hours to here - your dashboard - so you can watch whenever is convenient

  • How do I contact support?
