  • Crescendo to Success
    Your Final Grade 3 Theory Block

    This block builds upon the knowledge from blocks 1-5. If you would like to try our recordings, please start from the first block 'Beat it! Rhythm 1'.

    In this final block, we will build on everything you’ve learned so far by introducing a range of new Italian musical terms to complement those from Grades 1 and 2.

    You’ll also develop your skills in answering questions based on short musical extracts, helping you to read and understand music more confidently.

    Alongside this, we’ll take time to revisit and reinforce all the key topics covered throughout the course by completing a full practice exam paper from the back of your theory book- an excellent way to check your understanding and prepare for success.

    We’ll finish with a sneak peek at the online test format, so you know exactly what to expect on the day. By the end of this block, you’ll feel confident, prepared and ready to tackle your theory exam with success.

  • Course Objectives:

    To be able to recognise all ‘Grade 3’ musical terms

    To be able to answer questions on a short musical extract

    To be able to complete a Grade 3 practice exam paper

Piano Tutor

Hi, I’m Natalie and I am the piano/keyboard teacher for the hub. I am a mum of two and a qualified primary school teacher. I have been playing the piano since I was 6 years old and have been teaching piano for around 24 years- both online and in person. I am also a classically trained singer and was a member of the Cantamus Girls’ Choir for ten years. Pre-Covid, I enjoyed singing to residents in care homes and running my own dementia choir. Music is such a huge part of my life and I am thoroughly enjoying teaching in the hub, where I can share my love of music and enjoy watching children flourish.

  • How do I access the live sessions?

    You will receive a confirmation email from Zoom, containing details of your live registration.

    You will also have a reminder one hour before the start of each class.

    The live session can be accessed from the 'Join Webinar' button in these emails.

  • I've missed a session, can I have the recording?

    All recordings are uploaded within 24 hours to here - your dashboard - so you can watch whenever is convenient.
