  • Description: Burns Night Get ready to celebrate the spirit of Scotland with our Burns Night Pawprint Badge adventure! Pawprint badges are super fun and provide your children with an opportunity to work towards an end goal. Upon completion of the activities that we carry out together during this block, you will be able to purchase the 'Burns Night' badge from the Pawprint website to add to your collection. Each week, we will complete a different activity together. The activities will be as follows: Week 1: INTRODUCTION - This week, we will dive into the rich traditions of Burns Night, honouring the legendary poet Robert Burns. Week 2: CRAFT - We will be making own tartan by paper weaving and also make a cute thistle from paper. Week 3: FOOD - We will have a go at making a sweet haggis which includes chocolate, marshmallows, oats and fruit! Week 4: GAMES - Scottish games e.g. is this word Scottish? Pairs linked to Scottish items, Burns Night quiz etc. Week 5: OTHER - Clan discovery! Lang may yer lum reek!
