  • Description: Creative Photography - Storytelling. In this brand new block, we will explore various ways in which we can utilise photography to help us tell stories and get really creative. We will continue to explore using perspective and illusion photography (which we dipped our toes into with Block 3), as well as having fun with some gravity defying photography. We will explore mixed media, as we incorporate boardwalk art and will even try our hand at creating Aardman inspired characters and using them to create a series of images to tell stories. L/O: Though we will continue to build upon previous skills taught in Blocks 1-3, Block 4 can be taken as a standalone block and it won't matter too much if you haven't taken the previous classes. We will explore different ways that photography can be used to capture interesting creative visions, and use it imaginatively in different ways, particularly for storytelling. You will need any type of digital camera for this block - phone and tablet cameras are fine. You will also need some plasticine, some small beads or googly eyes, some coloured chalks (jumbo if possible) and an optional photography glass ball.
