Content

  • Forces and Motion part 2

    Builds on block 1 IGCSE Physics Double / Coordinated Year 1

    If you are wishing to study double science, you will also need to sign up for IGCSE Chemistry Double and IGCSE Biology Double.

    If you are wishing to study Physics as a stand alone IGCSE, or as one of the three triple IGCSEs you will also need to take the Physics triple block in terms 2, 4 and 6.

  • Course Objectives:

    Physical quantities and measurement techniques

    Calculate motion and turning effects of forces

    State the different types of energy

    Know the principle of the conservation of energy

IGCSE Science Tutor

Hi, I'm Rosie and I teach IGCSE Biology, Chemistry and Physics in the hub. I have taught Science in schools for 17 years and had various roles within school alongside teaching, my favourite of which was leading on teaching and learning in the school as I love the science of learning! I love helping learners grow in confidence, pique their curiosity about the world and realise that they can achieve more than they ever thought possible. I am a compassionate, enthusiastic, hard working tutor, partner, mother of two and I love cold water swimming! I am immensely passionate about all learners, no matter their background, ability or current situation, having a fair shot at achieving the very best that they can in their Science studies and I am delighted to be working with the Hub and our learners.

  • How do I access the Live sessions?

    You will receive a confirmation email from Zoom, containing details of your live registration. You will also have a reminder one hour before the start of each class. The live session can be accessed from the 'Join Webinar' button in these emails.

  • I've missed a session, can I have the recording?

    All recordings are uploaded within 24hours to here - your dashboard - so you can watch whenever is convenient

  • How do I contact support?
