Content

  • Description Chords and Inversions. This block is suitable for students who have completed previous blocks with me and also for students who have never played a note before. If you are a beginner and would like to make faster progress in this block, you can purchase my Piano 10+ Condensed Catch Up block here: https://courses.the2poundtuitionhub.com/courses/piano-Beginners-10-condensed-catch-up-block This is optional but will give you a head start for this block and for other blocks (past or future). For this block, we will be learning how to play chords, chord progressions and inversions of chords plus more.

  • Beginners will learn how to play basic chords and chords progressions in order to be able to play your favourite songs. Students who have played chords before will be challenged further by exploring how to play the inversions of chords in order to make your piano/keyboard playing much smoother. All students will learn how to use rhythm accompaniments on a keyboard. • To play a tonic triad • To play a chord progression • To work out all major and minor chords • To play a chord in 1st inversion and 2nd inversion • To know how to use rhythm accompaniments on a keyboard.

Piano Tutor

Hi, I’m Natalie and I am the piano/keyboard teacher for the hub. I am a mum of two and a qualified primary school teacher. I have been playing the piano since I was 6 years old and have been teaching piano for around 24 years- both online and in person. I am also a classically trained singer and was a member of the Cantamus Girls’ Choir for ten years. Pre-Covid, I enjoyed singing to residents in care homes and running my own dementia choir. Music is such a huge part of my life and I am thoroughly enjoying teaching in the hub, where I can share my love of music and enjoy watching children flourish.

  • I've missed a session, can I have the recording?

    All recordings are uploaded within 24hours to here - your dashboard - so you can watch whenever is convenient
