Content

  • Block 3 - Row your Boat and BINGO

    If you are a beginner and would like to join us for the first time, it is recommended to buy ‘Back to Basics Sept 2024’ and complete all of these lessons before starting the January 2025 block.

    Please note: This course is a repeat from 2023-2024. However, the music and teaching objectives will alter slightly within the blocks so it is fully recommended to follow the blocks in order from either Sept 2022-June 2023 or Sept 2023-June 2024. It is not recommended to mix and match the blocks.

    Block 3 is a continuation of the previous two blocks. Within this block, we will be continuing to learn how to read music to encourage independence. We will also be learning how to play ‘Old Macdonald had a Farm’, ‘Row your Boat’ and ‘BINGO’. As always, each session will begin with a fun warm up and then live students will have the opportunity at the end to perform for us all.

  • Course Objectives:

    To be able to play ‘Old MacDonald had a Farm’

    To be able to play ‘Row your Boat’

    To be able to play ‘BINGO’

    To know some note values and be able to tap the rhythms that they create

    To be able to read some notes in the treble and bass clef

Piano Tutor

Hi, I’m Natalie and I am the piano/keyboard teacher for the hub. I am a mum of two and a qualified primary school teacher. I have been playing the piano since I was 6 years old and have been teaching piano for around 24 years- both online and in person. I am also a classically trained singer and was a member of the Cantamus Girls’ Choir for ten years. Pre-Covid, I enjoyed singing to residents in care homes and running my own dementia choir. Music is such a huge part of my life and I am thoroughly enjoying teaching in the hub, where I can share my love of music and enjoy watching children flourish.

  • How do I access the Live sessions?

    You will receive a confirmation email from Zoom, containing details of your live registration. You will also have a reminder one hour before the start of each class. The live session can be accessed from the 'Join Webinar' button in these emails.

  • I've missed a session, can I have the recording?

    All recordings are uploaded within 24hours to here - your dashboard - so you can watch whenever is convenient

  • How do I contact support?
