  • From Hogwarts to the Addams House

    This stand-alone block is suitable for both beginners and those who have previously had lessons. Beginners will learn the melodies of both pieces, while more experienced players will have the opportunity to practise sight reading and add the left-hand accompaniment, allowing them to develop their skills and create a more complete performance.

    If you are a complete beginner and would like a little extra preparation before the block starts, you can purchase my Condensed Catch-Up Block. Designed to cover all the essential basics, as well as introductory music reading skills, it will help you gain confidence and feel more prepared when your lessons begin.

    Adult supervision is highly recommended, for the beginners in the class, during each lesson.

    Step into a magical and mysterious world of film music as we explore two instantly recognisable themes! In this fun and interactive block, we will learn to play Hedwig’s Theme from Harry Potter and The Addams Family Theme, bringing these spooky and enchanting melodies to life.

    Each session will begin with exciting body percussion warm-ups to help develop rhythm, coordination and musical confidence. Along the way, we will discover how to read simple music notation and experiment with different keyboard voices to match the character and atmosphere of the music.

    At the end of each session, everyone will have the chance to showcase what they have learned by sharing their own musical creations. Whether you dream of receiving your Hogwarts letter or simply love the creepy, mysterious world of the Addams Family, there will be plenty of musical adventures to enjoy.

Piano and Music Theory Tutor

Hi, I’m Natalie and I am the piano/keyboard teacher for the hub. I am a mum of two and a qualified primary school teacher.
I have been playing the piano since I was 6 years old and have been teaching piano for around 24 years- both online and in person. I am also a classically trained singer and was a member of the Cantamus Girls’ Choir for ten years.
Pre-Covid, I enjoyed singing to residents in care homes and running my own dementia choir. Music is such a huge part of my life and I am thoroughly enjoying teaching in the hub, where I can share my love of music and enjoy watching children flourish.

    You will also have a reminder one hour before the start of each class.

    The live session can be accessed from the 'Join Webinar' button in these emails.

  • I've missed a session, can I have the recording?

    All recordings are uploaded within 24 hours to here - your dashboard - so you can watch whenever is convenient.
