  • K-Pop Piano Hunters
    (‘Golden’ and 'What it sounds like')

    This one-off block is perfect for absolute beginners and for students who’ve played before.

    Get ready to jump into the colourful, high-energy world of K-Pop! Inspired by the smash-hit film K-Pop Demon Hunters, this special one-off block will engage us as we learn the two awesome songs: ‘Golden’ and ‘What It Sounds Like’- two tunes that are sure to get your toes tapping and your fingers flying across the keys!

    This block is perfect for absolute beginners and for students who’ve played before. Everyone will learn both songs, tailored to their level. You can join in using either a piano or a keyboard.

    We’ll kick things off with fun body-percussion warm-ups and even start reading music as we go. It’s musical, energetic, and packed with adventure -come and be part of the K-Pop magic!

  • Course Objectives:

    To be able to name and recognise note values

    To be able to recognise and name notes on the stave

    To be able to play a melody in my right hand

    To be able to play chords with my left hand

    To be able to find the beat of a piece of music using body percussion

    Resources Needed:

    For this block, you will need to purchase both pieces of music. The same pieces will be used for both beginners and those who have had lessons before. (Beginners will learn just the melody of each piece whilst those who have played before will add in their left hand too.)

Piano Tutor

Hi, I’m Natalie and I am the piano/keyboard teacher for the hub. I am a mum of two and a qualified primary school teacher. I have been playing the piano since I was 6 years old and have been teaching piano for around 24 years- both online and in person. I am also a classically trained singer and was a member of the Cantamus Girls’ Choir for ten years. Pre-Covid, I enjoyed singing to residents in care homes and running my own dementia choir. Music is such a huge part of my life and I am thoroughly enjoying teaching in the hub, where I can share my love of music and enjoy watching children flourish.

  • How do I access the live sessions?

    You will receive a confirmation email from Zoom, containing details of your live registration.

    You will also have a reminder one hour before the start of each class.

    The live session can be accessed from the 'Join Webinar' button in these emails.

  • I've missed a session, can I have the recording?

    All recordings are uploaded within 24 hours to here - your dashboard - so you can watch whenever is convenient.
