    Running Up That Hill

    The NeverEnding Story

    This is a stand-alone block which is suitable for students who have had lessons previously and also for students who have never played a note before.

    Step back in time and dive headfirst into the electric world of the 1980s!

    Inspired by the smash-hit series Stranger Things, this thrilling piano block invites students to learn two iconic tracks: ‘Running Up That Hill’ and ‘The NeverEnding Story’ theme song.

    Packed with retro vibes, this standalone block is perfect for everyone- from complete beginners touching the keys for the very first time, to students who have had lessons before.

    Using a piano or keyboard, students will learn how to read a lead sheet, play powerful open fifths and classic power chords, and also explore how to use the sustain pedal.

    Beginners will focus on confidently playing the right-hand melodies, while more experienced players will be stretched by varying their left-hand accompaniments, bringing these unforgettable tracks to life.

Piano Tutor

Hi, I’m Natalie and I am the piano/keyboard teacher for the hub. I am a mum of two and a qualified primary school teacher. I have been playing the piano since I was 6 years old and have been teaching piano for around 24 years- both online and in person. I am also a classically trained singer and was a member of the Cantamus Girls’ Choir for ten years. Pre-Covid, I enjoyed singing to residents in care homes and running my own dementia choir. Music is such a huge part of my life and I am thoroughly enjoying teaching in the hub, where I can share my love of music and enjoy watching children flourish.

  • How do I access the live sessions?

    You will receive a confirmation email from Zoom, containing details of your live registration.

    You will also have a reminder one hour before the start of each class.

    The live session can be accessed from the 'Join Webinar' button in these emails.

  • I've missed a session, can I have the recording?

    All recordings are uploaded within 24 hours to here - your dashboard - so you can watch whenever is convenient.
