  • Have Yourself a Jazzy Little Christmas!

    This is a stand-alone block which is suitable for students who have completed previous blocks with me and for beginners who have never played a note before.

    Get into the festive spirit and bring your Christmas tunes to life with this fun and creative piano block!

    Whether you're a complete beginner or you've played before, this stand-alone block is perfect for anyone wanting to add some sparkle to their seasonal playing.

    We'll start by exploring the classic “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas”, learning how to take this simple melody and transform it with colourful techniques like jazzy extensions and suspended chords. Then when we’re ready, we'll move on to festive favourites like “Jingle Bells” and “Silent Night”, using the skills you've learned to jazz up these tunes in your own unique way.

    This block is open to all levels. Beginners will start with learning the basic chords and melodies, while more experienced students can dive right into applying new techniques and arranging their own versions.

    All you need is a piano or keyboard, a love for music, and a little festive cheer! 🎁✨

Piano Tutor

Hi, I’m Natalie and I am the piano/keyboard teacher for the hub. I am a mum of two and a qualified primary school teacher. I have been playing the piano since I was 6 years old and have been teaching piano for around 24 years- both online and in person. I am also a classically trained singer and was a member of the Cantamus Girls’ Choir for ten years. Pre-Covid, I enjoyed singing to residents in care homes and running my own dementia choir. Music is such a huge part of my life and I am thoroughly enjoying teaching in the hub, where I can share my love of music and enjoy watching children flourish.

    You will receive a confirmation email from Zoom, containing details of your live registration.

    You will also have a reminder one hour before the start of each class.

    The live session can be accessed from the 'Join Webinar' button in these emails.

  • I've missed a session, can I have the recording?

    All recordings are uploaded within 24 hours to here - your dashboard - so you can watch whenever is convenient.
