  • Jingle All the Way! 2024

    PLEASE NOTE: There will be no live session on Monday 4th November - this will be a pre-recorded lesson.

    For this block, we are going to be getting into the Christmas spirit and learning Jingle Bells and We Wish You a Merry Christmas! We will continue learning how to read music and will also be using body percussion to capture the pulse and rhythm of different Christmas songs. Music is available on the dashboard for you to download so there is no need to buy any music. As always, there will be the opportunity for children to perform for us all at the end of each session. So get your Santa hats on and come and join us!

  • Course Objectives:

    To be able to play Jingle Bells.

    To be able to play We Wish You a Merry Christmas

    To be able to tap a steady pulse.

    To know some note values and be able to tap the rhythms that they create.

    To be able to read notes in the treble and bass clef.

    This block follows on from Block 1 Back to Basics Sept 2024 but if you are able to play a simple tune on the piano/keyboard or would like to catch up with Block 1 recordings first https://courses.the2poundtuitionhub.com/courses/piano-5-sept-2024-back-to-basics-5628, then you are more than welcome to join us for the first time!

Piano Tutor

Hi, I’m Natalie and I am the piano/keyboard teacher for the hub. I am a mum of two and a qualified primary school teacher. I have been playing the piano since I was 6 years old and have been teaching piano for around 24 years- both online and in person. I am also a classically trained singer and was a member of the Cantamus Girls’ Choir for ten years. Pre-Covid, I enjoyed singing to residents in care homes and running my own dementia choir. Music is such a huge part of my life and I am thoroughly enjoying teaching in the hub, where I can share my love of music and enjoy watching children flourish.

  • How do I access the Live sessions?

    You will receive a confirmation email from Zoom, containing details of your live registration. You will also have a reminder one hour before the start of each class. The live session can be accessed from the 'Join Webinar' button in these emails.

  • I've missed a session, can I have the recording?

    All recordings are uploaded within 24hours to here - your dashboard - so you can watch whenever is convenient

  • How do I contact support?
