Content

  • Block 12

    This fun and interactive class is perfect for primary-aged Pokemon fans!

    The class will be cross-curricular and each block we will study lots of different curriculum areas through the theme of Pokemon, including Science, Geography, History, English, Art, DT, Cooking, and IT.

    This block will also include a craft and Kahoot quizzes to join in with.

    Specialist Resources Needed:

    Wooden lolly sticks and elastic bands for our catapult.

  • Course Objectives:

    In Science, we will be learning about forces and building our own Pokeball catapult!

    In Art we will look at the work of Andy Goldsworthy and use natural resources from outdoors to create Pokemon-inspired art work.

    We will create some super pieces of persuasive writing and create a tourist leaflet for a Pokemon land.

    We will also learn about Pokemon inspired by Antarctic creatures and learn about the race to the North and South Poles.

    Finally, we will create our own Pokemon bake- recipe to be revealed!

Primary History Tutor

Hi! I’m Sarah and I teach Primary History on The Hub and am currently working on a new exciting recording ready for after Christmas. I’m a mum of two young boys and have been a primary teacher for 15 years (how time flies!) After spending the last 10 years teaching Year 6 in a junior school I now work mainly with young people and adults with a variety of different educational needs, either 1-to-1 or delivering group workshops. I’m loving this new challenge in addition to my work at The Hub! Above all, my aim is to work creatively to make lessons fun and engaging- I think we all learn more that way!

    You will receive a confirmation email from Zoom, containing details of your live registration.

    You will also have a reminder one hour before the start of each class.

    The live session can be accessed from the 'Join Webinar' button in these emails.

  • I've missed a session, can I have the recording?

    All recordings are uploaded within 24 hours to here - your dashboard - so you can watch whenever is convenient.
