Content

  • Block 10

    This fun and interactive class is perfect for primary-aged Pokemon fans!

    The class will be cross-curricular and each block we will study lots of different curriculum areas through the theme of Pokemon, including Science, Geography, History, English, Art, DT, Cooking, and IT.

    Blocks will include various interactive elements, from crafts, to recipes, to online quizzes.

  • Course Objectives:

    This block will start with a look at food chains. We will learn what these are and create our own Pokemon-inspired food chains. We will also be getting creative and studying the art work of Yayoi Kusama, a Japanese artist whom we will use to inspire our own Pokemon art work. We will be learning about electric Pokemon and having a go at building electrical circuits (a simple kit can be purchased for £10 online0 link will be provided. However this is not essential to join in with the block). We will be travelling back in time and learning about mythical creatures from Greek mythology- have and Pokemon been inspired by these? Finally, we will be cooking up a storm with a Pokemon bake!

Primary History Tutor

Hi! I’m Sarah and I teach Primary History on The Hub and am currently working on a new exciting recording ready for after Christmas. I’m a mum of two young boys and have been a primary teacher for 15 years (how time flies!) After spending the last 10 years teaching Year 6 in a junior school I now work mainly with young people and adults with a variety of different educational needs, either 1-to-1 or delivering group workshops. I’m loving this new challenge in addition to my work at The Hub! Above all, my aim is to work creatively to make lessons fun and engaging- I think we all learn more that way!

  • How do I access the Live sessions?

    You will receive a confirmation email from Zoom, containing details of your live registration. You will also have a reminder one hour before the start of each class. The live session can be accessed from the 'Join Webinar' button in these emails.

  • I've missed a session, can I have the recording?

    All recordings are uploaded within 24hours to here - your dashboard - so you can watch whenever is convenient

  • How do I contact support?
