  • Description: Ancient Egypt Part 2 A fun, engaging and interactive class, where we will learn all about Ancient Egypt. As always there will be a recipe to have a go at as well as a craft to try out. In the second part of our look at the Ancient Egyptians, we will be learning all about the different tombs of Pharaohs which have been discovered and what was buried inside them. We will be taking a look at Egyptian architecture such as the pyramids and the Sphinx- could you build the strongest pyramid? We will have another look at daily life, including medicine, leisure, games and dance. We will learn all about the afterlife and have a go at making our own canopic jars. We will also be learning about war in Ancient Egypt and about the end of the era with a look at Cleopatra. (Don't worry if you missed the first block on the Egyptians, you will still be able to join in with this one, or you can catch up with the recordings if you prefer!)
