  • Description: The History of Exploration and Adventure. A fun and engaging class where you will learn all about key figures in the history of exploration and adventure through the use of videos, website, artefacts and more. As always, this block will include lots of interactive elements within the lessons, including Kahoot quizzes and a STEM craft activity. L/O: This block we will be learning all about the history of exploration and adventure, from Christopher Columbus in America to James Cook and his travels to Australia. We will learn about the races between brave explorers to reach the North and South Poles and will also learn about the history of space exploration. We will then round up with learning about key female explorers and their achievements and discoveries.
