" Learning objectives covered: "Story STEAM Coding Club aims to help develop participants' computational thinking, problem solving and creativity by teaching them how to code fun games and programs using Scratch and micro:bit. Coding has strong links with mathematics, science and design and technology and also provides opportunities to develop these skills. During these coding sessions, participants learn to: * design, write and debug programs using Scratch block coding * use sequence, selection and repetition in programs * work with variables and various forms of input and output * use logical reasoning to explain how some simple algorithms and programs work * detect and correct errors known as 'bugs' * have fun!
