    ¿Quién es tu ídolo? (Who is your idol?) Talk about who you admire.

    ¿Cómo son? (What are they like?) Use 3rd person to describe your idols.

    Su vida en el pasado (Their life in the past) Use the preterite tense to talk about what your hero has achieved.

    Héroes del mundo hispanohablante (Hispanic Heroes) Look at famous figures from Spain and Latin America.

¡Hola! I’m Kelly and I teach Secondary Spanish 🇪🇸 I’m a new recruit to the Hub though I have been teaching Spanish in a Welsh High School for the past 13 years. My parents claim my love of languages started as a child when Vanessa Paradis’ “Joe Le Taxi” hit the charts (🙈🤣) Please don’t worry about this, I can confirm my musical tastes have drastically improved! 🎉 I believe learning languages is deeply beneficial for our youth. Not only will oracy and listening skills improve but also grammar and thinking skills amongst many others. Learning a new language is like giving yourself a key to another amazing new world 🌎💗 I hope you will find my lessons fun and engaging. Looking forward to meeting you all soon. ¡Hasta pronto!
