  • Description: Mini STEM Challenges. Immerse your child in a world of hands-on STEM exploration with activities designed for ages 6 and above. From crafting boats to understanding magnetism and building towers, these experiences will cultivate creativity, problem-solving and scientific curiosity. Using everyday materials, these activities not only make learning accessible but also foster a love for Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths. These sessions will engage your child's imagination and encourage critical thinking as they discover the joy of discovery through fun, practical activities. Equipment required – Pencil, Permanent pen, Ruler, Scissors, Tape, String, Elastic bands, Split pins, Glue stick, Low melt glue gun, Ring magnet, M10 half nut, Marbles, Metal paper clips, Garden cane or dowel rod, 3ml plastic pipette, 1p, 2p and 5p coins Materials required - Blu tack, A4 card, Craft foam, Wooden skewer, Paper cup, Juice carton, Cardboard box, Newspaper (or A4 paper), Transparent disposable plastic bottle with lid, Polystyrene disk, Milk bottle lid.
