Content

  • In the September block we will be looking at:- Invasive Species - Natures Unwanted Guests! Have you ever wondered what happens when animals and plants move to places they don't belong? Join us as we explore the surprising stories of these "nature's unwanted guests" and learn how they can turn ecosystems upside down! Each lesson we explore a new creature and include a craft, piece of art or practical activity!

  • L/O: To identify and explain features of different invasive species. If you have done these blocks previously then you may prefer to sign up for individual blocks

Hi, I´m Mel and I teach a few things in the hub; psychology, sociology, ethics & philosophy, globetrotting, wild about animals and number ninjas! I´ve been teaching for 15 years and have taught from ages 7 to 18 hence the diverse range of subjects! My main passion is psychology as this was my degree and I find it fascinating to learn about human behaviour and love passing that onto the student. My love of animals comes from the growing brood of fur-babies I´ve fostered or adopted – I currently have 6 cats and 3 dogs (who occasionally appear in the background of a lesson!). I live in Spain with my partner and 6 year old daughter, Olivia. I love to make my lessons as engaging and interactive as possible to make lessons enjoyable and memorable, and hope to see you in one of my classes soon!
