Content

  • Writing for Different Purposes

    We will be reading The Jolly Postman to help us write for different purposes.

    We will read the fun letters from the story and use these to write persuasive pieces of writing, informative descriptions about cheeky characters and entertaining sentences with lots of description!

    We will play kahoot to test our knowledge and have some fun games of bingo!

  • Course Objectives:

    Describe a character in detail using adjectives and adverbs.

    Make sure a sentence makes sense by reading it back.

    Use expanded noun phrases.

    Write to persuade a reader of something.

    Use capital letters and full stops correctly.

Hi I’m Hannah and I’m 39 years old! I taught in a Primary School for 11 years. I left teaching when I had my children and joined The £2 Tuition Hub which is amazing as it’s allowed me to be at home with them! I have been married to Alex for 11 years and we have a 7 year old daughter called Martha and a 5 year old son called Ezra. I love going on holidays with my family, socialising with friends and going to the cinema!

  • How do I access the Live sessions?

    You will receive a confirmation email from Zoom, containing details of your live registration. You will also have a reminder one hour before the start of each class. The live session can be accessed from the 'Join Webinar' button in these emails.

  • I've missed a session, can I have the recording?

    All recordings are uploaded within 24hours to here - your dashboard - so you can watch whenever is convenient

  • How do I contact support?
