Content

  • Marnie Midnight is SO excited to be starting school at Minibeast Academy. She adores everything about the moon and she can’t wait to learn about its magic. But when Marnie starts school, she’s shocked to find out that nobody believes in moon magic anymore! Marnie is determined to get to the bottom of this moon mystery. The little moth and her minibeast friends explore far and wide in their search for the truth. But will they survive a run-in with a rebellious rat or a terrifying out-of-this-world adventure with the Early Bird . . . ? One thing is for sure, Marnie is a little bug having a BIG Adventure!

  • Book Club 7-9 is primarily aimed at nurturing a love of reading and building reading confidence. Each week, we spend time enjoying and talking about a section of the book together, and children will have the chance to read aloud to the group if they wish (there is absolutely no pressure to do this). A selection of activities to enhance their understanding of the book, including comprehension questions, writing, research and craft activities will also be provided each week, which children can complete after each class if they wish. Children will need to complete some additional reading outside of the class each week in order to ensure we are able to complete the story within the 5 week block.

“£2 tuition hub was the best resource I found my entire time home educating. I’m still currently using the £2 Hub 3 years later”

“Fantastic group has helped us through 3+ years of home ed, wish we knew of you before that when we first started ”

Sharon, Parent

“This group is without doubt an absolute blessing. Fantastic classes with amazing teachers at an extremely reasonable price. I for one am so thankful to you and your team for everything you all do. We appreciate the hub so much and are very grateful xx ”

Claire, Parent

“We have been taking part in the BSL lessons and the other day had great fun finger spelling while shopping. Two of my children have dyslexia with T being more severe, he hates and refuses spellings. Along comes BSL and he’s loving spellings!” ”

Holly, Parent

“Our family are full time travellers and the hub is a life line for us. The children get to see and speak to adults who show a real interest in their learning and their lives. They get to pick lessons that they are interested in and have fun learning something new. The social hub was a real life line for us too. My 3 have made friends and love getting to chat to children and adults daily too. ”

“I can’t thank you enough for starting this group Amy. You gave me back my happy (not so little anymore) boy. Thanks to this group he’s realised he’s not the stupid, naughty kid that school made him believe he was. His sister is on school holidays and he’s doing recorded lessons by choice. Xxxx ”
