    This beginner-friendly course will introduce you to the power of Canva, a free online design tool that lets you create posters, presentations, social media graphics, printables and more.

    Across this block, you'll gain hands-on experience, learn top tips and tricks and complete fun projects.

    This course is the perfect starting point for all things Canva!

  • Lesson 1: Learn how to use Canva’s basic tools by creating a fun, personal poster.

    Lesson 2: Learn how to create engaging, colourful presentations using slides, animations and visuals.

    Lesson 3: Learn how to make use of Canva apps to explore creative tools like AI image generation, emoji makers and graphs.

    Lesson 4: Learn how to design and export printable creations like bookmarks, cards and planners.

    Lesson 5: Explore a range of creative Canva tools, shortcuts and tips and apply your skills to design a personal vision board.

Hi everyone! I’m Amy and I’ve been a private tutor since 2020. I previously worked as a teacher where I taught in almost every year you can think of! I’ve worked in mainstream, independent and special schools. I’m passionate about every child being able to access an education that is right for them and I’m excited to be a part of that! During my time as a teacher, I worked with students with very high anxiety and as a result I’m an empathetic tutor and always aim for students to feel safe and secure in my lessons first and foremost. I also like to produce fun and engaging lessons that focus on topics that students are actually interested in! I love travelling, reading and spending time at home with my baby, husband and dog! I also run my own greeting card company and have sold over 50,000 designs! I am so excited to be joining the hub and to meet you all. I am a huge advocate for home education and I love what the £2 hub stands for! I hope to see in my lessons soon!
