    1. Session 2 Recording. Navigation Menu - We'll add more pages and link them together through an interactive navigation menu

    1. Session 3 Recording - We'll use JavaScript to click our gallery thumbnail images to see a bigger version.

    1. Session 4 Recording - We'll create a custom colour palette and design a logo using Canva.com

    1. Session 5 Recording - We'll optimise our website for displaying on mobile devices and then make the website live!

Content

  • An introduction to HTML, CSS and JavaScript for complete beginners aged 8+. You will choose a theme and follow along with the demonstrated code to create a three page website with headings, paragraphs, lists, images and video.

  • You'll learn how to add colour and position elements using CSS and make an interactive gallery using JavaScript.

  • You'll create your own custom colour scheme and design your own logo using Canva along the way.

Creative Multimedia Tutor

Hello, my name is Rebekah and I am a home ed mum. I live in a small fishing village in Northern Ireland with my husband and 3 kids who are 7, 10 and 12. I studied creative multimedia subjects through school and university and have continued to develop my knowledge over the years. I have ran an online sticker shop since 2017 and have delivered online training to others who are keen to sell online. At the start of 2024, I tutored a local group of primary age home educated children who were taking part in a web design challenge. The kids went on to fight off the competition from school groups across Northern Ireland and take 1st place. I’m excited to share my knowledge through the £2 Tuition Hub and look forward to seeing what all of these amazing kids can do!
